The 2009 HUMMER H2 is a full-size SUV based on the GM full-size pickup platform and drawing from the HUMMER H1 that was originally designed for military use. The H2 was the first new vehicle under the HUMMER brand since GM acquired exclusive ownership of the HUMMER brand. The H2 may be scaled down, but it offers all the capability expected from HUMMER. The H2 SUT was added for 2005.
The 2009 HUMMER H2 adds Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free phone operation, new interior features, a Black Chrome limited edition and standard E85 FlexFuel capability. New amenities include available second-row captain’s chairs, third-row seat storage, available heated steering wheel, available power-adjustable steering wheel, OnStar Destination Download, XM Satellite Radio with NavTraffic, and rear vision display in the rearview mirror when not equipped with the navigation system. The Black Chrome limited edition features black chrome details such as 20-inch chrome-clad wheels, grille, hood latches, door handles, mirror caps, badges and body color fender flares, rocker moldings and hood louvers. Only 1300 Black Chrome limited editions will be offer in three colors: Silver Ice Metallic, Sedona Metallic and Carbon Black Metallic.
