The 2009 Saturn Aura is Saturn’s midsize sedan and features a new design language that debuted with the Saturn Sky roadster. Based on the Aura concept vehicle that debuted at the 2005 North American International Auto Show, the 2009 Saturn Aura shares a platform with the front-wheel-drive Pontiac G6 and is highlighted by an elegant, European-influenced design. The Aura is also available as a hybrid.
The 2009 Saturn Aura adds new version of the Aura XR, powered by the 2.4-liter Ecotec 4-cylinder combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission that features TapShift manual shifting and boasts an EPA highway rating of 33 mpg, the same rating as the Aura XE. StabiliTrak is standard for all trim levels and Bluetooth hands-free phone connection is available on XE (standard on XR).
